Ms. O'Meara-Costello practices in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation. She has represented clients in civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She has worked on appellate cases before the First Circuit Court of Appeals and has co-written a petition for certiorari filed with the United States Supreme Court. During law school, Ms. O'Meara-Costello was a member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau, where she represented indigent clients in domestic relations, housing, and unemployment benefits cases, and a member of the editorial staff of the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender. Her internships during law school included work with Catholic Charities Immigration Services in Boston and the Law Offices of Robert McDuff and the Mississippi Center for Justice in Jackson, Mississippi.
